Living In a More Vivid World

It runs from the 25th of May through to the 11th of June with an estimated 500,000 flocking to the iconic and free event. It is ‘Lights on’ from 6pm – midnight for 18 days. Intel has had the privilege of working on two collaborations this year, both visible on the facades of the Museum of Contemporary Art (MCA) old building and their brand new wing, all powered by 3rd Generation Intel® Core™ i7 processors. The external front façade of the old MCA features an amazing audio-visual piece inspired by the Russian Constructivist movement by multimedia artist Justene Williams,  the projection see a series of constantly evolving animations designed and mapped to the building’s architecture, requiring fifteen powerful projectors – each 20K HD –  to beam the animated sequences onto the building’s façade all powered by 3rd Generation Intel® Core™ i7 processors. <iframe src="http://player.vimeo.com/video/43017286" width="500" height="281"></iframe> <a href="http://vimeo.com/43017286">Vivid 2012 time lapse</a> from <a href="http://vimeo.com/ianwaldie">Ian Waldie</a> on <a href="http://vimeo.com">Vimeo</a>.
